Media Processing Boards

Dialogic provides a very rich selection of media processing boards that range from two-port analog interface boards to octalspan T1/E1 media and network interface boards. These products support a suite of media processing features, including voice play and record, conferencing, fax, modem, speech integration, monitoring, VoIP, and video. The boards are arranged in 4 media board families, i.e. Dialogic® Media Boards with DM3 and JCT architectures, Dialogic® Diva Media Boards, and Dialogic® CG Series Media Boards. They also contain links to detailed information such as datasheets and other related documents and include available software components.

Dialogic® Blue™ Product Line

The Blue Product Line consists of one member, the Dialogic® Blue™ OneSpan-24/30-S-LP Telephony Board. "OneSpan" stands for 1 E1/T1 connection with 24 or 30 channels. "S" stands for software echo cancellation (free of charge), while "LP" stands for Low Profile form-factor. More members will be added during the next 12 months, so that we can offer you a complete suite of products for different connection types and in different densities.The supported features are well suited for IVR along with call transfer emulation, G.711 support, AGC, and echo cancellation. Dialogic Blue Telephony Boards are "passive" boards without an on-board CPU or on-board DSPs. They rely on the host CPU to provide the computing power for the functionality that an application requires. For this reason, the host CPU must be carefully selected to provide an appropriate feature set and system load capabilities.

CG Boards and Software

The CG Media Boards are available in PCI, PCI Express, and CompactPCI versions and support up to 16 software-selectable T1/E1 ports, as well as dual Ethernet interfaces for IP connectivity. CG Media Boards provide full-duplex universal port capabilities, which can support a combination of trunking, voice, fax, conferencing, VoIP, and video functions in a single slot. Dialogic NaturalAccess Software provides the development and runtime environment for the CG Media Boards.

Diva Boards and Software

The Diva product line consists of Media Boards (Telephony Adapters) for E1/T1, ISDN PRI/BRI, Analog and IP connections. They are all RoHS 6/6 and scale from 2 to 240 ports per board. They come in PCI and PCIe versions. Their form factors are Low Profile (LP), Half Size (HS) and Full Size (FS) depending on the type of adapter. Diva media boards support most of the standard APIs so they can usually be installed within existing applications (Windows and Linux). For purpose-built applications 3 high-level APIs including many ready to run samples are available for free download.

DM3 Boards and Software

The DM3 family of combined media boards allows developers to rapidly build and globally deploy media server solutions for the enterprise and public networks. The boards, available in PCI, PCIe and cPCI versions, offer a variety of media loads to enable voice processing, speech recognition, fax and conferencing capabilities, along with software selectable T1/E1 digital network interfaces, mixed ISDN and CAS protocols per span, support for DPNSS and DASS2, and A/U law conversion. Support for 1 to 16 spans of T1/E1 are available as well as up to 1000 IP ports. The Dialogic R4 and Global Call APIs provide the development environment for the DM3 family of boards (Windows and Linux).

JCT Boards and Software

The JCT Media Boards provide solutions that range from 4-port media and analog interface boards to dual span T1/E1 media and digital network interface boards. These boards support a full suite of media processing featuers, including voice play and record, fax and speech recognition. The boards come in PCI and PCIe versions and support the Dialogic R4 and Global Call APIs (Windows and Linux).

HMP Interface Boards

Dialogic® HMP Interface Boards (DNI Boards) provide a native PSTN interface to PowerMedia HMP, enabling efficient VoIP gateway functionality to be built into applications using PowerMedia HMP.
